Minor Decoy Operations
Ventura Police Officer Doug Cleavenger has reported on minor decoy operations conducted in the last 6 weeks. There were 28 locations visited by the 18-year-old minor decoy, and 5 businesses sold alcohol to her: Seaward Fish ‘N Chips, Dukes, Carrows on Harbor, Round Table Pizza, and Black Angus. Please remember decoys have to show their real ID stating they are 18 years old. And when asked, they cannot lie and must tell the server they are only 18.
If you have any questions, would like to volunteer for the Designated Driver program, or would like to donate to build DUI education and awareness, please email Officer Doug Cleavenger.
