Dargans
In 1902 Lawrence Dargan built a Pub and grocery to serve the small population of Cookstown, a market town in the north ofIreland. This became a center of Irish traditional music and good times. The tradition has spanned three generations, and now continues with Dargan’s Irish Pub & Restaurant here in Downtown. Anacapa Brewing Company is Ventura only Brewpub. They serve fresh, hand-crafted ales and lagers produced in a 12-tank stainless steel brewery by the head brewer Adam Ball.
